5. Gather an interested group and get your school and district informed about MN GreenStep Schools. Did you know there is a slide show template and other resources you can use to start planning for a MN GreenStep Schools Resolution? Did you know the program is free, voluntary, and flexible? Anyone can get things started - youth, teachers, staff, parents, community members - green teams represent them all.

6. Contact the GreenStep Schools team at mngreenstepschools@gmail.com to ask questions or set up an exploratory meeting.

7. Work to achieve MN GreenStep Schools Step Level 1 recognition. There are two parts to this: form a green team, and pass a district school board resolution to participate in the program.

8. Share your green school Progress Steps or Project Story to celebrate your progress and inspire other schools.

9. Youth? Are you an interested student group or club advisor? Get your club designated at a GreenStep Club or form a new GreenStep Club. 

10. Partners? If you are an organization or individual of any type that can help schools achieve their green school goals, become a MN GreenStep School Resource Organization to help schools find you.
